    1. Thank you, Victoria!

That is one of the AMAZING things about Bharatanatyam dancers – their expressions are beautiful and so precise.

The movements and expressions are all meant to tell specific emotions, and in dance dramas, the dancers’ movements tell the story through precise and telling movements of body, hands, face, and eyes.

Bharatanatyam is most often performed with accompanying music and singer: “Bharatanatyam is performed to traditional South Indian Carnatic music. In addition to a singer, some common instruments are violin, mrudangam (double headed drum), and flute.”

Victoria, you are, indeed, VERY Observant. 🙂

    1. Hi Marina! 🙂 Thank you! And, how are you doing? I hope your meditation is going well. It is always good to focus and sort of let ‘this world’ go and be still for awhile to reach a deeper part of ourselves – if that makes any sense – I hope so. Thanks again, my friend, I’m always very happy to chat with you – You are inspiring for me, and I am wishing you the best. 🙂
