Head Shot Photography
Yesterday, I photographed my daughter, Jenan. I did not want to dig out my DSLR, nor did I want to mess with flash units. Thus, I grabbed my “old” (by today’s standards in digital camera techn0logy), and trusty, PANASONIC DMC-LZ8 (circa. 2008 model).
I convinced Jenan to be my subject and she was very cooperative, which is always good for the photographer. The sky was also cooperative, providing me with soft, cloudy, ambient daylight. Any of the big catch-lights in the eyes are reflections from the biggest light source in the world – the cloudy, but bright sky.
