Month: September 2015

It seems that my beloved Imagekind has me standing in the rain

Days and days have passed by now without a solution to the image upload FUBAR problem at my beloved Imagekind (IK).  Usually, I will upload a new image to IK, and then I will show that new photograph here in my blog.  Well…whatmyname…sitting here like an idiot waiting for IK to get their proverbial shit-together-and-in-order.

In the meantime, since my book is at an impasse, and I can’t upload images to IK, I am attempting to locate my original image files uploaded to FineArtAmerica—there are a total of 26 images that I need to locate in my cloud storage.  Good luck to me.  They could be anywhere.  Of course, I wasn’t brilliant enough to make a specific folder with the title, FineArtAmerica…LMAO!  “THAT WOULD BE WAY TOO EASY NAWFAL!”  “Suffer and go look.

I need to find these 26 photograph files because I personally think they are 26 of my best abstract art photographs to date.  They are “dark”.  A friend of mine calls some of these images “Satanic-Art”, LmAO!  Yes, in a way, they are THAT DARK!  HOWEVER, if they seem evil in anyway it is because they represent the evil that the N W 0 (aka Ill – uminati) spells for the world: the most powerful group of business-BASTARDS and their puppet political leaders.  To me, the NW0 = SATAN.  Evil = NW0.

In many of my FineArtAmerica art photos, there are mysteriously revealing and grotesque faces that appear and disappear.  I am attempting “to expose the evil that exists in the world, which is greatly caused by a few of the most powerful people in the world.”  I am a Photographist-Artist, and this is how I know how to expose the evil that is being committed against the majority of the people on earth.

If I had one artistic influence in making these art photographs, it would have to be Edvard Munch (12 December 1863 – 23 January 1944) these are my attempt at “The Scream”. I think “SPAWN THREE” is one of my most complex images thus far…and somewhat frightening. I shock myself sometimes with how macabre and sinister I make some of these artworks appear.

Here’s a plan for rooting out “The Evil”:
I would suggest that “demon-traps” be painted on the floors and ceilings at the entrances of every government office building in the world, and then you would see how many of these “elected” (e.g. rigged) officials get trapped in the demon-traps!  I think very few would pass through the traps.  I’m only half-kidding about the demon-traps.

Well, ho-hum, onto showing the 26 photographs I’m frantically searching for.

Hurry up and WAIT!

I’m in a continuous holding pattern.

My biography of a local business mogul has seen constant pauses—many because the client is away on business; he is unable to find time to supply me with the historical photos and captions, which should go at the ends of each of my sections in the book; and, several other issues which have me in a bind.

I have finished my completed-incomplete manuscript and sent it in to the client.  I had to come to an “end” (if it is) to this conundrum.  I suggested that when the historical images are digitized and captioned, that “perhaps” the company graphic designer can carefully insert the images in the text in the proper decade-section.  I can pray that it ends up well if that is the course of action.  What I do know is that without all the necessary data / photos, I cannot complete my project as I would wish and hope for.  I had a solution for this, but it is difficult to suggest things when the “boss” wants to be involved in every step even though he does not have the time to supply everything the author needs.  After all, he is busy running a multi-million dollar group of companies.  I can accept the “not-enough-time-for-everything” problem—it is understandable.  However, the client could have instructed an alternative at the company to assist me with the biography when he is unavailable.  Or, I would make myself available during anytime outside of work hours, weekends…anytime just to get the needed photos and captions.

Well…ARGH!

Feeling considerably frustrated.

I have worked on this book since May, and now to see such a significant roadblock about missing photos and captions, is to say the least, disheartening.

To make the publishing and delivery deadline the book must be done now: there is precious little time.

So, here I am in a holding pattern, hurrying up and waiting.

I am not blaming anyone but myself, even though it may sound like I am passing the buck on this one.  I shot myself in the foot as soon as I didn’t “demand” more control on how this project runs.  However, one must be diplomatic when dealing with clients.  I can only blame myself…I think.

This Art Photograph’s Creation Date: 14 September 2015.
Original Image Created on 1 Sept 2015.
Collection:  ABSTRACT PHOTOGRAPHY.

Collection Influences:
Andreas Bernhard Lyonel Feininger (December 27, 1906 – February 18, 1999) was an American photographer and a writer on photographic technique.  I have to say that as far as my Abstract Photography is concerned, Feininger is my main, and probably, only Photographer influence.

Mark Rothko (/ˈrɒθkoʊ/), born Markus Yakovlevich Rotkovich (Russian: Ма́ркус Я́ковлевич Ротко́вич) (September 25, 1903 – February 25, 1970).

Paul Klee (German: [paʊ̯l ˈkleː]; 18 December 1879 – 29 June 1940) was a Swiss-German painter.

→ VERY GOOD INDICATIONS WHEN NOT TO TRUST AN ONLINE ART GALLERY THAT HAS APPROACHED YOU BY EMAIL AND PRAISES YOUR WORK.

There are at least two VERY GOOD INDICATORS when NOT TO TRUST an online art gallery that has approached you by email and praises your work.

√ First, notice if the person at the gallery spelled your name correctly in their email to you! If they did NOT, it means that they only gave your web gallery (somewhere online) a cursory look, and didn’t have the respect for you to make sure they spelled your name correctly! Being a shitty typist is NO excuse — do the decent thing especially if you suck as a typist, and check that you have spelled the artist’s name properly!

√ Second, AND…

Study Of: “THINGS MOST PEOPLE DO NOT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO” along the streets of Penang.  These may be mundane, old, and decaying elements, or things thrown away on the street that happen to land and sit in a particular way that becomes an interesting scene to me.   This is a somewhat macroscopic, environmental still life photography perspective where the parts of the subjects, the form, the texture, the color, and the design, are the main subjects in the images…the objects in the photos lend a hand to the over all structure of the images but don’t tell the whole story of what I find interesting in the photographs.
