All of these movies have won several film awards.
Movie 1:
MAESTRO
A French Comedy from 2014. 85 mins long.
A strory about a young actor who is taken under the wing of a legendary French film maker.
It was an over all entertaining movie…very good.
Movie 2:
THE 100-YEAR-OLD MAN WHO CLIMBED OUT OF THE WINDOW AND DISAPPEARED.
SWEDISH MOVIE, COMEDY, 114 MINS. 2013.
This was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen! I could see this happening: An amazing old guy who did all sorts of amazing things in life, you learn about in backstory, and he gets mixed-up in another crazy epic after he jumps out the nursing home window and escapes.
MOVIE 3:
KON-TIKI. NORWAY MOVIE. DRAMA/ADVENTURE. 2012. ACADEMY AWARDS AND GOLDEN GLOBES 2013.
“The powerful true story of young Norwegian adventurer Thor Heyerdahl who in 1947 embarked on an astonishing expedition – a journey of 4,300 nautical miles across the Pacific Ocean on the Kon-Tiki raft.”
INCREDIBLE cinematography!
The shark scenes had me on the edge of my seat.
Great story!
I didn’ get to see two others I wanted to see…maybe sometime:
1. Dead Man Talking, from Luxembourg, 2012. Drama/Comedy. And,
2. Purgatorio, from Spain. Horror/Suspense. 2014.
