THE WORDPRESS ANDROID APP COULD BE IMPROVED SO IT IS EASIER TO SEE THE POSTS OF FOLLOWERS WHO INTERACT WITH MY BLOG POSTS THE MOST

Hi.

This is not a photography or art post. I just made an Art Photography post, so please see my earlier post if you want to see my Art Photography.

_______

The WordPress Android App Could Be Improved

Over all, I am satisfied with the WordPress Android app. It does what I need it to do: It allows me to conveniently create blog posts quickly, and then, to publish my blog posts without much hassle.

Creating and publishing posts is not my concern about any improvements that could be made with the WordPress Android App.

My concern is this…When I go to the “Freshly Pressed” option, the most recent blog posts from people I follow come up–OK, that’s fine…BUT IT ISN’T FINE!

MOST OF THE PEOPLE WHO I FOLLOW, NEVER VISIT MY BLOGS!  And, to be honest, I don’t follow many of the blogs of people I follow.  That is just how things work when being a member of a blog site like WordPress.  At least, that is how it works with me.

* I don’t want to have blog posts from people I am not really interested in, coming up FIRST, on the screen.  At least I’m being honest.

I WANT to see the recent blog posts from people who I INTERACT WITH THE MOST at WordPress, AND PEOPLE WHO TAKE THE TIME TO READ MY BLOG POSTS–Those are the blog posts I want to see.

Why the hell do I NEVER see any blog posts, in the “Freshly Pressed” scrolling list, of the blogs that I really want to see?

* I want to see in the “Freshly Pressed” scrolling list, the blog posts of people who visit my blog, who “Like” my posts, and who leave comments about my posts. I want to see the blog posts of my WordPress acquaintances and friends. Why is it, that it is so difficult to see the blogs of the people who visit my blog posts?

** HOW ABOUT ADDING an OPTION TO THE WORDPRESS ANDROID APP, in the “Freshly Pressed” section, TO SEE THE BLOG POSTS OF ALL THE PEOPLE WHO VISIT MY BLOG POSTS ALL THE TIME!

YES! There are actually a few people who always see my blog posts, AND I APPRECIATE THESE PEOPLE, their “LIKES”, and their “Comments”.

Considering that there is technology to track visits to specific website pages, why not add some sort of technology, or algorithm, to the WordPress Android App, to keep track of specific people’s visits to blog posts?

For example, Person X visits Blog Y, more than anyone else, so add that person to Blog Y’s “Biggest Fan’s” database. Person Z visits Blog Y, second most often, and so on and so forth. THEN, when you go to the App’s Freshly Pressed, “Biggest Fan’s” Option, ALL of your blogging friends come up showing their most recent blog posts.

I think this would be a GREAT addition to the WordPress Android App! I would really like to have a convenient way to see the blog posts of the people who follow my blog posts, the most. I want to return the favor, and see what work they are doing. Without an option like that, the one mentioned above, I can scroll the “Freshly Pressed” blogs for 10 minutes before I come to someone who I recognize–someone who regularly follows my blog, and having to scroll forever, that is frustrating to say the least.

Conclusion:

WordPress, Please add an option to your Android App, in the “Freshly Pressed” section, to SEE THE BLOGS OF PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW ME/YOU, AND LIKE MY/YOUR POSTS, THE MOST….if that all makes sense. To me, I like convenience when possible, because life is difficult enough without having WordPress Android App options being difficult.

Collection Description:

This Collection is Still Life Photography, designed while walking around Penang. To be more specific, this photography is essentially ENVIRONMENTAL STILL LIFE PHOTOGRAPHY. It is a record of capturing serendipity as it presents itself to me, as I go around Penang, to photograph. The subjects are colors—paints of abstract designs interacting with environmental objects, like tree leaves, water puddles, rain drops, dry and cracked dirt, colourful rocks, and anything that catches my attention and presents itself as good still life subjects.
