Those are all of THE 49-PROJECT Art Photographs…

That would upload without messing around with my mind – I’m so tired of technology jerking me around.  If a photo does not want to upload, then there is a reason for it – maybe in the bigger plan it wasn’t meant to be seen – at this point – I care little…

Thus, this may or may not be all 49 images from THE 49-PROJECT.

I hope you like what I have here – however, I seem to get little notice, and as an artist, that is very discouraging after so many years.  It is like, (and excuse my explicative, but WTF-else can I do to get my work, 1) Noticed by Gallery Curators; 2) Purchased by designers, collectors, or even 3) Just anyone who wants art on their walls?

Like I said in my today’s FB statement, I am “annoyed” (pissed-off more like it).

What does an artist need to do when there is little return on investment and life is like getting kicked in the teeth every f’ing day?

I’m sorry, but I’m getting fed up with things.  If I were in my 20’s and feeling this way, then awesome, it’s time to go into a new path and start over fresh.

If you are a “49-PROJECT,” and getting screwed around and unnoticed, then there are a lot of huge problems facing your life.  If you are in this boat, and you also have health problems, like Arthritis for 34-years – and walking a few blocks feels like someone is pounding nails into your kneecaps, and spine, then, you (I) am facing even more trials and tribulations.

I recently watched a video by some ultra-religious guy – of a faith I won’t mention – and he said, “trials and tribulations” are good for you – it means you are being tested – God would not test you more than you can handle!

And, I’m going:  “Awesome!  So, God wants me to roll on through more trials and tribulations – to what end?”

To reduce the sins I’ve committed in this world.

To see how tough I am.  To test my mental and physical vinegar.

I feel like my croutons have been vinaigrette enough already!

Is it too much to ask for some good vibrations to come my way?  Or, by asking for the good vibrations, you actually get $hit-vibrations in return?  Is that how it works – back-ass-ward?

I’m just feeling a tad-bit fed up at this point-and-time.  I think people expect you to always show your ‘happy – face’ and that is how you are supposed to always be.  Well, sorry to disappoint – but I’m in my “END OF THE LINE” DevilDriver mood today, and I might as well apologize to anyone who gets on my wrong-side today because they may feel

Newton’s third law, which is:

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

That’s about it for today, and it’s only 10:33am – yeah, one of those days…

Wishing you all a better day than what mine is, so far…

RUBBER-BANDS DROP on BURGUNDY SERIES of the IRITIS COLLECTION

TO ROUND OUT THE IRITIS COLLECTION IS “RUBBER-BANDS DROP on BURGUNDY,” Series.

Not the place.  Not the sauce.  The color, burgundy.

The rubber-bands were dropped on a felt cloth that was burgundy color.  I realize that the final pieces do not look like the rubber-bands were dropped on burgundy color of anything:  You will have to trust me on this.

To round out THE IRITIS COLLECTION, is this abstract expressionism photography series, which is the tenth and final series of THE IRITIS COLLECTION.

I still have the Iritis and I’m still on meds for this disease.  The black shreds of iris pigments are still floating around in my eyes so that my vision seems like I’m looking outside through a dirty windscreen.  As I mentioned in a previous blog post, this is probably just my new normal – the unique way of seeing the world and photographs with “stuff” floating around in the foreground.

So, here are the eight photos from the “RUBBER-BANDS DROP on BURGUNDY” Series.

Penang Trees – an Abstract Expressionistic Photography Point of View

Penang Trees - an Abstract Expressionistic Photography Point of View ID: 12929510 Category: Arts & Photography Description: "Penang Trees - an Abstract Expressionistic Photography Point of View," by Nawfal Johnson Nur, is a collection of 18 art photographs. This series shows "what else" the trees are - their symbolic meanings based on physical characteristics, which in a larger sense, inspired this project. Nawfal photographed the trees from the viewpoint of a subjective observer wishing to record and design images that exhibit the grand characteristics of trees with their wild and twisting branches and beautiful glowing hues. However, those qualities were just the beginning points to base this series on: Nawfal used those visual ques to design images that more appropriately exemplified his feelings while capturing the photographs. The qualities of having "abundance" and "hope", are traits that Nawfal believes trees naturally have, and generously give to humankind. This is what Nawfal wanted to show in these abstract images. TWO RUSTY BOLTS

"TWO RUSTY BOLTS Go into a Bar, and the Sociopathic one demands of his Minion." Yeah, so what, strange title for an art photograph. But, I can name it whatever I want, so there, alright!

“TWO RUSTY BOLTS”

“Most times, we look at objects for their utilitarian purpose. But as photographers, we regard them for their momentary visual appearance.” – Catherine Jo Morgan

Yes, I too see things for their momentary visual appearance and decide if it will make an interesting photograph to me.

The fact that an object attracts my eye is not surprising to me.  What surprises me is that another person will have no appreciation for such mundane objects and totally disregard them, either in real life, or as represented and interpreted in photographs.  They, the close-minded, I fear, just don’t get it.
