“Seeing common items from the opposite side of glass, especially privacy refracting glass, gives me an incentive to design photographs. I imagined this looking like a very interesting image from a X-Ray machine.”

The Father of Photography according to John Werge (1890).

“Charles William Scheele was born at Stralsund, Sweden, December 19th, 1742, and died at Koeping, on lake Moeler, May 21st, 1786. He was the real father of photography, for he produced the first photographic picture on record without camera and without lens, with the same chemical compound and the same beautiful and wonderful combination of natural colours which we now employ. Little did he dream what was to follow.”

ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM PHOTOGRAPHY Series:

I have over 85 Photography Series. I consider myself an Abstract Expressionism Photographist, and I have photographed in this style for 20 or more years. Believe it or not, up until just recently (mid-2018), I had not created an Abstract Expressionism Photography Series—In a way, that seems completely ludicrous to me!

Typically, all of my Abstract Expressionism photographic artworks have been designed for other photography series, so I guess I never thought there was a need for a photo series called, “Abstract Expressionism Photography”.

However, with my work titled, “Descent into Tartarus” (2018), I had no collections that were specifically appropriate for that artwork. And after searching my many series, I could not find one titled, Abstract Expressionism Photography! Therefore, that is how this series came into existence. It was a process of discovery: I discovered that I needed an “Abstract Expressionism Photography” series.

Anyone who follows my work will know that Jackson Pollock is my main artistic influence. Thus, my Abstract Expressionism Photography artworks are in the fashion of All-Over Painting, and my works are full of chaos, action, dynamic colours, and design.

Manila Palm Fruits & Storm

Title: “Manila Palm Fruits & Storm”.

Creation Date: 15 January 2019.

Series: Environmental Still Life Photography.

Series Years: 2017-2019 (On-going).

Copyright 2019 Nawfal Johnson

All Rights Reserved.

Photographer’s Statement:

“I actually had to take this Manila Palm Tree photograph from an open window, it provided the proper height and faced the stormy grey sky that perfectly framed the background. Fill-flash was necessary to give details to the fruits and show the green and red colours. In a shot like this, it is necessary to make the subject a little brighter than the background or the subject will blend into the background and not be very interesting—Thus, a +.5 to +1.0 fill boost was added to bring out the colours and details of the subject.”

Macro Green Soap Bubble Shadows Abstract Photography

Title: “Macro Green Soap Bubble Shadows”.

Creation Date: 15 January 2019.

Series: Environmental Still Life Photography.

Series Years: 2017-2019 (On-going).

Photographer’s Statement:

“For me, the focus of the photograph is sometimes ‘the other subject’, not what you would typically think of as the ‘main subject’. In the case of this image, the main subject was the soap bubbles. What caught my eye first, was the other subject, the geometric shadows the soap bubbles created in the green dishwashing soap. And also, the repetitive abstraction it created was interesting to me.”

I’m Living Technology Hell! My Tablet has decided that it does not want to work anymore: The Charging Socket is Spoilt

Hello blogging friends. I may be away for awhile, NOT BY CHOICE!

I’m Living Technology Hell!

My Tablet has decided that it does not want to work anymore: The Charging Socket is spoilt, I think. My cables and charger are in perfect condition and new.

Thus, IF I can’t figure out something soon, as my Battery is at 24%, and charging is in the negative mA’s.

☆If my Tab dies, that is it, I am Royally Fucķëď! I do all my work on my Tab, so if it STOPS working, it is total bullocks! I will be forced to STOP working too—editing and designing Art Photographs will stop too.

For I am screwed!

♡ If anyone want to contribute to the New Technology Fund for Nawfal, hey, that would be awesome. I’ve been blogging for at least 11 years, and have tried and done my best to give my subscribers good, interesting, and beautiful content—at least I hope my subscribers see it the same way.

☆ 23% now. Great, it is so awesome to know the exact time that your technology will screw you over.

Oh well….I’ll be back as soon as possible. Perhaps a phone repair shop can do something about the charging input socket, but I don’t know about that.

See you soon, I hope!
